Environment:

African Eden uses Climate Care’s calculator to work out how many tonnes of CO2 our safari activities produce and we pay Climate Care to reduce the equivalent amount of CO2 in another part of the world by investing that money into emission reduction projects. So when a client buys our safari holiday we buy a tonne of carbon from Climate Care’s emission reduction portfolio and in turn a tonne will be reduced through their projects. The money is used to replace fuel-hungry inefficient technologies with low carbon efficient technologies in developing countries. It helps spread the adoption of low carbon technologies (many of which are award-winning) and improves the quality of life for communities and individuals alike.

You will receive a Climate Care certificate showing their emission reduction, as well as reduction tips to help you to continue reducing where possible at home.

All our employees have a strict no litter policy.
