Insurance & Extras
You must have adequate insurance in place to cover cancellation, damage to yourself or baggage, the cost of repatriation by helicopter or air, and medical expenses. Please note that the Stand Alone Safe Seat Plan policy that we issue on your behalf for you is NOT an insurance policy and you will need to arrange separate travel insurance to cover losses incurred during your holiday. Please advise us of the name of your insurer at the time of booking. Cancellation cover applies immediately, so no refund of premiums can be made if you subsequently cancel your travel arrangements. If you do not take out insurance you will be required to sign an Insurance Indemnity form and no tickets will be issued by us until this is received.
We have negotiated rates for travel insurance through the TTA (Travel Trust Association).
Holiday Extras offer a wide range of over 100 hotels covering all of the UK 's main airports. Many of the hotels also offer free transfers to the airport and/or packages that include car parking.
Pre-booking your car parking is the best way to ensure you get the best price available. Holiday Extras offer over 50 car parks at 25 UK airports.
Visa Services
You may either arrange your visa directly with the relevant authority or contact a company that specialises in assisting travellers with visas. Please remember it is your responsibility to obtain the necessary visas for your holiday. If you do require a visa please make sure you have allowed adequate time to obtain one. We have negotiated special rates with the CIBT Visa Service.
Climate Care
ClimateCare is a service that reduces greenhouse gases on behalf of individuals and organisations, to compensate for their impact on the climate. It does this by 'offsetting' the greenhouse gases - such as CO2 - emitted from your activities by reducing an equivalent amount of CO2 on your behalf. These reductions are made through a range of projects in sustainable energy technologies that not only fight climate change but can bring widespread benefits to communities around the world.
